Why choose the Nano Lite? (User benefits)

  • It is slim (easily pocketable), light (70g) and easy to carry (lanyard hole hole available)
  • Instead of buying a brand specific spare battery (particularly for smart phones), the Nano Lite allows cross-brand recharging (i.e there’s no need to buy 1 spare battery/ brand or model) 1 battery for almost every phone
  • You are able to share your your spare power with others via the multiple connectors (Nokia 1&2, Sony Ericsson 1&2, Samsung & Motorola)
  • The USB output allows other brands to charge when the given adapters are not compatible
  • The Nano Lite’s internal charge controller is able to handle a wide variety of charging conditions. Why risk your OWN phone battery while charging from a possible unstable source (e.g. car) when the Nano Lite can do it for you?

Why choose the Nano Lite? (Environmental Impact)

  • It complies with European (RoHs) standards, in other words all soldering is lead free
  • It complies with future proposed GSM Association plans to standardise chargers via USB (China is adopting this to reduce the number of disused handphone chargers) Food for thought: How many unused phone chargers do you have in your home?
  • By buying only 1 unit of Nano Lite to charge your mobile device, you are effectively reducing the number of possible spare batteries you would have had to buy if you changed model or brand.
  • Note that recycling of handphones are now an established business but there is still no established practical way of recycling phone chargers.
  • Buying a Nano Lite is your way of helping the environment.

Why a Lithium Polymer battery? (Environmental Impact)

  • It is easier to charge then other forms of battery, making it ideal for solar charging
  • It is currently the lightest type of commercially available battery
  • It is physically recyclable (e.g. it can be shredded to make another product e.g. flower pot)
  • It does not leach chemicals back into the ground

How long does it take to charge the Nano Lite?
This will depend on the method of charging:

  • Solamas Solar Chargers: In ideal conditions the sunlight conditions 4-5 hours will be sufficient to charge the Nano Lite (assuming that the unit has “low battery” indicator on)
  • From all other sources it will take 1.5 -2 hrs.

How long will the Nano Lite last (lifetime)?
This will depend on the usage of the individual unit:

  • Warranty on the unit is 1 year from the date of purchase, life span however, is subject to the nature of use and the operating environment
  • e.g. if the device is charged & fully discharged on a daily basis, it would last approximately 1.3 years
  • If on the other hand it were used every other day it would take 2.6 years and so on.
  • All figures are approximate as there are an infinite number of environmental conditions that the unit could be subject to

How long will the Nano Lite store its charge?
This will depend on the environment of the individual unit. Generally however it will hold a charge for months (dependent on previous charge & storage environment) from last charge.

Is the Nano Lite last compatible with the Solamas range of flexible Solar chargers?
The Nano Lite is compatible with the Mio Lite, MYA via Nokia adapter and Sunbag L via USB - Nokia cable provided with each unit. Note the Nano Lite may be charged via other means not stipulated here, however it maybe inadvisable as the power source would not have been tested for compatibility

What is the Nano Lite warranty period?
The Nano Lite is for 1 year from the date of purchase against defective workmanship & manufacturing defects.

What is a Nano Lite DC USB car Adapter?
