MYA PPG

The MYA PPG works like a environmentally friendly power station. Its solar cells convert the energy from sunlight into direct current using the new Triple junction technology.

You can use the MYA PPG – anywhere, where you don’t
have access to a mains power supply.

MYA PPG's small size and light- weight makes it easy to
take it with you everywhere you go.

Advantages

The flexible nature and thin profile of the panels allow them to be hooked onto a back pack to charge equipment while on the move.

They also stow away easier when not in use & tend to follow the shape of the carrier. (e.g. in the back pocket of a pair of jeans)
Modular so more panels can be linked together to increase output.* Amorphous cells takes a wider range of light to produce power.
Shadow tolerance allowing charging in poorer lighting conditions.
Amorphous cells continue to operate even if a section of it is damaged.
Flexible nature allows for 3m drops.**
Relatively lighter than glass and many times more durable.
The MYA can also be used to charge the Nano Lite battery pack. Yet another way to really be wireless!

Technical data
The battery charger consists of three linked flexible & robust solar cards. Its performance data under standard test conditions (STC) are as follows:
•irradiation in module level 1000 W/m2 with AM spectrum 1.5; temperature ~25C.
•Output voltage: UO - UMPP 6.8 V -5.1V
•Charging current: ISC - IMPP 522 mA - 467 mA
•Power: PMPP 2370 mW
•Charging time: (depending on type of mobile phone) between 4 and 6 hours
•Dimensions ~180mm x 95mm x 15 mm
•Weight ~150 grams

**The base unit without additional electronics on board can sustain higher drops. Current max.height tested 8 stories.
